Dryer Vents Are Our Bread & Butter
Certification Matters
Making sure that we have the approved training and certification to service your dryer exhaust and perform a dryer vent cleaning is important to us. Obtaining this certification means that we have gone through the training that meets national standards for dryer vent cleaning. We don’t believe in the University of YouTube. The Chimney Safety Institute of America is the only institution providing education and certification specifically for dryer exhaust systems. With this education, we are able to tackle any dryer exhaust problem that you might have.

Our Dryer Vent Cleaning Isn’t Just Some Fly By Night Scheme…
You deserve it to be done right the first time.
We have thousands of dollars invested in our dryer vent cleaning equipment. We have every tool imaginable to clean and repair dryer vents, because not every job is the same. Some of the craigslist or classified ad dryer vent cleanings are using little more than a $30 kit from your home improvement store. We have been called to retrieve these broken kits when they snap and get stuck in a dryer vent.
According to FEMA.GOV, 2,900 home clothes dryer fires are reported each year and cause an estimated 5 deaths, 100 injuries, and $35 million in property loss.
Even though your dryer has a lint trap, particles can still get through and build up on the inside of your vent pipe and duct.
Clogged vents will also increase the time it takes to dry clothes and increase the amount of electricity/gas it takes to dry one load.
Prescott Home Safety can get your dryer vent in top shape and give you peace of mind from these catastrophic events.
What’s Inside Your Dryer Vent?
We recommend getting your dryer vent cleaned annually. For households that have more than 3 people’s worth of laundry, the frequency of cleanings might be higher.
To the left is a video we put together of a dryer vent before and after cleaning with our equipment.
Below, you’ll find a couple of photos of what we’ve found inside of dryer vents. We find all kinds of stuff inside of dryer vents. You just never know what is in there until you hire a professional to come clean it out.
